15x7 wheels rubbing on front

ok I just bought this 69 cougar previous owner replaced all front suspension and added 1” lowering springs. it had 14x7 mustang rally wheels on it with 225 70 14. they would rub in reverse at full lock. he had an alignment done i will post a Pic of alignment specs. I bought new 15x7 magnum 500 with 4.25 backspace with 235 60 15 tires. I did research and this seemed like a popular combo even with 1” lowering springs. but they rub front of inner fender lip pretty bad when turning. not sure what i can do now.

less caster…

thanks im gonna take it to an alignment shop near me that specializes in classic car suspension and alignment. Hopefully it fixes the issue.

it looks like the wheel is pushed forward a lot more towards front fender lip

I could be mistaken , but the early shelby drops required re drilling the upper a arm mout holes lower and to the rear to help get more caster. Some of the new oerf a arms also move the ball joint to the rear.Imho you will really like more caster(4.5+) for good handling.

im taking it to a suspension shop hopefully they can dial it in. its all new stock suspension with 1” drop springs. others have this setup with same wheel and tire and have zero rubbing issues. im hoping its as simple as a camber adjustment. I just bought all new wheels and tires.

The shop that aligned both of the cougars we ve had used 2005 crown vic specs….wonderful

got alignment done i guess previous owner had alignment done prior to me buying. the shop i took it to said it was a complete mess got it aligned correctly and wheels no longer rub. but now car goes down road straight but kinda wanders. all of suspension is new. someone mentioned adjusting control valve. it does have a new rebuilt one. should I try adjusting it ive never done that or just get a new one?
