IDK, why mess with perfection. These type things are of course very subjective, so to each his own. If itās your car, have at it. but since it was shared here, for me personally, I think that lighting setup is tacky and looks awful, especially that rainfall-mode (likely illegal in many places). so many timesā¦ less is more.

I wonder if these are the same ācustomizersā that ruined that 65/66 Mustang in the Izervay commercial. I honestly thought it was a botched Barracuda resto at first.
I remember seeing that commercial. Such an ugly car.
On that car those taillights fit. Well I could do without the ārainfallā effect but the modern LED light panel works.
Its all about the overall application. If you want a original restored car then yes these are very out of place. More of a modern restromod type car? then they fit right in to the overall look.
The majority here are mainly die hard original types so getting a different opinion then how it was built in the 60s-70s is sometimes difficult. Nothing wrong with original but its not for everyone and I like to see other ideas out there too.
