The Robie GTE. I heard it sold recently for big bucks…in the same condition sans the spare 427.
I bought the spare block. It is a service replacement but it’s virtually new.

I believe it was a spare long block that never was installed after the original engine had problems while being driven from California to their new home in Oklahoma.

It was actually run for a brief period. The original engine was pulled and set aside. I didn’t buy the internals, just the bare block.
True, you got the service block. Jim repaired the original engine and put it back in the GT-E. The car now belongs to Mike and it is in better shape now.
Good to hear, Jim…did some good to that car before selling…pays to be a registrar.
