I am installing the rocker trim on my 69 XR7 and have a question about the portion mounting to the fender. I have two holes for mounting a plastic clip close to the door and have read that one of the metal clips with a stud mount on the trim and go through the fender near the will lip. Is that correct? Mine had a screw pirated through the trim and through the fender. I filled the hole before painting and I hope I can relocate it. Any body have an image with trim holes on the fender?
