Check the drawing in the Ford shop manual. These are available both in hard copy and digital. Very helpful for many things.
Trying to push the spools out hydraulically will require some fittings from the auto parts or hardware store for the straight threads on the tube connections and something to get a grease fitting connected. I haven’t worked out all the details on that yet.
