Also, the mikanuk claims that the A/C is fine, I am just having an issue with either the harmonic balancer, or the power steering (or a combination of both). But the A/C itself is fine (and blows cold).
I am waiting with baited breath about the fuse box (if it is salvagable) and the wiring going to it… and knowing if the interior lights/instrument cluster lights & clock can be made to work again. I hate rabbit holes that I have no control over… but, I was never good with wiring (I’m a wrench turning kind of guy).
and installed an aftermarket stereo that has the time in the display. Kind of counter productive, no amp no sub’s and I never pull out of the garage with the top up. Be sure when searching for parts you check out WCCC and NPD for cougar specific parts, I believe Don from WCCC has said in the past if you don’t see it or its out of stock call them to make sure. Sometimes real time updates are a little off
