Looking for thoughts on '73 convertible top strut alignment issue. My father in law owned this car, left it to me. He replaced the convertible top and I don’t think he cycled it very often. When lowering or raising the top the passenger sides strut joint wants to rub against the body and chaff the material of the top itself. I don’t want to just start bending things in hopes that it will improve the clearance. Anyone with experience with this kind of thing? I live in a rural setting, so finding a shop to repair won’t be easy. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
