500 CFM for a 351c street car?

Your current 2V heads have 74 CC combustion chambers. Both the 1970 4V head and the “Aussie” 2V head have 61 CC combustion chambers and will increase compression in your Cleveland. The Aussie 2V heads are your best bet if you can find them. They are out there.

Both Edelbrock and Trick Flow offer aluminum heads that have 60 CC combustion chamber heads that are way better than the heads mentioned above. They also have improved combustion chambers that work well with 10 to 1 compression on todays gas. These heads match to a more modern camshaft or even a roller hydraulic camshaft will wake your motor way up. I just built a 393 Cleveland with the Edelbrock heads and a mild roller that makes impressive HP. But again this is will require the proper intake and carb and other stuff to make it all work. Not cheap, but the results are impressive!!
