Does anybody know of any pics showing the proper routing of all the p/s hoses on my 67 289 ? I’ve been searching, can’t seem to find anything. Hoping for both top and bottom pics. I’m installing a rebuild control valve, cylinder, etc. Thanks for the help
Unless you are wanting to keep it stock, I recommend that you use the big block hoses and routing. On the 289 one hose makes a loop inside the fender next to the exhaust manifold. It seems crazy, but it had to do with how they hooked the hoses up on the assembly line.
Thanks, I appreciate the heads up, non stock doesn’t bother me on this one. My trouble now is I gave Don all my money, so there’s no budget to change now. But I will in the future. The car came with aftermarket hoses (cheap ones). I had the motor out to detail the engine bay, and replaced the control valve, cylinder (sp), and I can’t get them to fit worth a sh!t. I’ve been looking for decent pics of what I have, to no avail. When I find the Moosetang pics, they look like they’re different.
