1968 Mercury Cougar XR7/GT, unrestored, but still nice and not running at this time. Was running 8 months ago when parked.
*Rare 4 speed “S” code.
Factory options include:
*“S” code 390 big block 4 barrel

*Center console

*“Tilt away” steering wheel

Looks like a nice car from what you can see in the pictures. I wonder why it has a 67 steering wheel? I thought a 67 steering wheel would not fit a 68 column.

It doesn’t. My X code came the same way. They cracked the wheel in several places putting it on.
