I bought a Beretta too, Model 92FS was like $425.
My first two cars were 66 Mustangs. Then two 68 Cougars. I still had my two tone 68 when I bought a 67 Shelby GT 500 4 speed in pieces.
A month later bought my wife a 66 GT 4 speed 289 4bbl. I kept my Cougar.
My wife’s GT was stolen and a long story on the Shelby. Short version, surprise baby and sold it to pay hospital bills but a LOT more involved.
I love the 69-70 and really like your car, Gorgeous.
