69 headlight fix?

so over the years, one of the springs that holds in my high-beam headlight broke. I ordered a new spring, but then upon further inspection, the metal tab that holds the spring in place, broke. It looks like I need to replace the entire housing now. Is that really the case? or is there some kind of repair kit that someone makes for it? or do I have someone weld up a new tab?

thanks for the help and suggestions.

West Coast Classic Cougars has a repair kit that might work.
