69cougar/64galaxie saga

let me start by saying i dont know how much of the 6 pages i will try to reproduce on here of the saga. however i am going to start with pictures of how they looked at the start with me way back when .

i have to dig for the early 90’s 64 picture, i actually have to scan them in, but heres where i started three years when i was off work

heres how the kitty looked when i brought her home in 07

Glad you started this over here Justin! Look forward to following the rest of the story. What happened to the red cougar in the pics? Was it yours also?
Thanks
Chuck

chuck, the red kitty is for sale still as far as i know. 69 xr7 351 2v. was green before it was red. has some floor rust. there is currenty no interior in her either, was black/tan in side . my friend was debating keeping her , but i dont know if that was decided

Thanks J. Thought maybe you had a 2nd cat. If I was a wealthy man I would have everyone I could get my hands on…

much needed update, cougar is getting closer! hood and fender are in final paint, the car is offically edged, the scj scoop is on . and the hood plate rings are onas well, i spent the weekend, cleaning up/painting the taillights, cleaning painting the fuel door , installing the rear valance, and installing the decklid after the bottom side was edged and the new weatherstrip was installed enjoy

i have not been keeping this thread up,

with everything that has transpired, the car is goingto my friends house to be assembled. the car will then be blended at my friends body shop. i was not happy with the stock arms at all, so i boxed the lower, got the cpp upper arms and did the roller perches . the car is getting outfitted with the heidts pro g 4 link, subrframe conenctors, chassis brace , jacking rails, extreme matrix brace. sn95 rear brakes, s197 front brakes. the rear seat has been repaired, i am running 99 catera fronts,(look like scat seats)

That must be an old photo of the console on the sawhorse as I can see the grass. Around here the grass is all covered with that white crap.

Justin,

Have a spare AC center vent block off? If yes, make a Cougar button out of that Grant button, like this:

Yes, this is SOME winter we’re having, huh Randy? More on the way tonight…

That’s for sure Bob. I am SOOOOOO ready for spring. We have another 8" from last night to now. And now it is more of a freezing rain sleet mixture coming down right now. Then it supposed to turn back to snow. Enough already.

i am just adding the pictures, there is no chronilogical order to them, bob, the domed decals i had made are for the horn button!

i m very tired of winter and the fact i lost my dad going into winter and didnt get half of what i needed to get done , done .

I thought those were for the wheels only but okay!

bob, thats why i did 2 sets, one for the horn and one for the center caps

Looking good!
