So I guess what I am hearing you say is getting the right fluid and proper Ford additive may help with my problem?
Yes. I tried using the parts store additive in a 9" Traction Lock years ago. It didn’t do a think. The differential was noisy and it chirped the tires going around corners. The Ford stuff fixed the problem.
Warning: Wear rubber gloves when handling containers of Ford Friction Modifier. If possible when you buy it put it in a box in the bed of a pickup truck. Even a closed bottle smells like 1000 cats peed on it for a month.
