9F91M585319 not registered?

Looking at buying this car. Wanting to make sure it is an eliminator. He says it is not registered. Any info would be great. I live near Salem, or

Hi Loren,

I found 9F91M585319 in my copy of the Eliminator Registry - added to the Registry in June of 2012. Listed as being a bright yellow paint color with an automatic transmission. “M” VIN indicates a 351W-4V car as well.

It never hurts to spend the $15 on a basic Marti Report either. That can help you confirm the Eliminator status, as well as knowing what options were originally on the car (like PS, PB, etc).

Good luck with your purchase!

Mike B.

Thanks Mike. The paint shop must have added the car. Thats about when it was painted. But, it never got put back together. I will get a Marti Report. As soon as I get it to my shop I will be needing advice on where to get the few parts I need to put it back together.
Thanks again

Deal is done. Got to make room in my shop. Get it home and start putting it back together

Sweet! You’ll have to post some pictures when you get a chance ~ and we don’t mind if they are in pieces or crusty, we just like to see them

There are a few places for Cougar parts that are very close to us.

Cascade Classics is up in Washington: http://www.cascadeclassics.com/
West Coast Classic Cougars is in Keizer / Salem: http://www2.cougarpartscatalog.com/

How many 69 eliminator’s still exist?

The exact number is unknown, of course. But there are over 400 1969 Eliminators recorded in the Eliminator Registry.
If you are looking for more details about the known cars, you can contact Dave Wyrwas, who maintains the Eliminator Registry.

How does one get a copy of the Eliminator Registry? I didn’t see anything on the pages?

I believe you have to own a registered Eliminator, then contact Dave W. and ask for a copy.
