The stock is green 17 tooth with 14’s. Now I have 15’s, Speedo runs 5 or 6 mph high. Will an 18 be enough to get close?

C-4 not the hard to find C $

You can find on line calculators that you input gear ratio and tire diameter for a C4. Just used one for AOD swap and rear gear change.

Find the percentage your speedometer is off. If GPS says you are doing 50 and your speedometer reads 56, then the error is 12%. To slow down the speedometer, you will need to add teeth. Multiply the 17 tooth gear by 1.12 to find that a 19.04 would be correct……19 teeth. 18 wouldn’t be enough.
