Hahahhahaha! - I just had to try that and see how it looked.
I will “re-skin” the cat for the final shirts (see attached).
I am going to create the final art to be screen printed on black shirts - I will “cartoon” the Cougar skull slightly to take a tiny bit of the edge off of it but also so the graphic will translate better to a t-shirt.
I will post the final art here when it is done and reserve shirts for anyone that wants one.
I think they are really fun and different and will be perfect to wear everyone once-in-awhile to cruise nights and such.
After the Over Haulin’ episode where host Chris Jacobs dumped manure on the car and called it a “Poogar” I think a little “attitude” is in order
My name is Anthony and I am in Teaneck, New Jersey. I have 1968 standard and am in desperate need of a cougar mechanic! I also want to join the Cougar Club of NJ. Can anyone help me?
Welcome Anthony. I’m at the southern end of the state. The majority of CCNJPA members live towards the northern part of NJ. I’m sure they will have some idea where you can find help. Mechanically the cougar and mustang are identical in many respects.
Sorry Ant, I just saw this. The CCNJ/PA guys will be a good resource for you. I’ve been out of NJ for 8 years, so I’m a little out of touch with the local scene.
I am thinking about having it ghosted in with an airbrush on top of the spoiler so you can only notice it if you are looking for it. Thank you for the vinyl offer though.
I love the look !! The first time I saw it was last year at Suds’ house and I was like WHERE CAN I GET ONE OF THEM !!
Phillip is right - the club doesn’t intend to replace it’s current logo, but from what I heard, lots of them were sold at Carlisle when they were offered there.

ex “hostage cat” owner

hopefully ex 72 ragtop Mustang owner soon
future 69 Cougar owner again
Shame on me for not realizing this was a 3 year old thread that was just resurrected!
It didn’t occur to me that it was an old thread, since we have been talking about doing another run.
That’s what I get for not being as active as I used to be - but now that my daughter is a little older and the Mustang is on the market, hopefully I can get back into it.
I will be at Carlisle this year. It’ll be good to see everybody again.
I also have a mechanic located in Saddlebrook NJ who’s fair and honest. G&J’S Auto joe & jimmy 201 796 0383 who takes care of the basics, brakes, carb.

I use Fisher Transmission in Fairfield NJ Exit 62 on I 80. They work on older cars on my first visit they had a pristine 1929 Cadillac on their lift. They work on both my cougars.
