Very much sounding like an Eliminator clone. People have been adding scoops, spoilers and side stripes to other Cougars since the Eliminator models first came out in April 1969. Seems very likely since the car was green, and 1969 Eliminators only came from the factory in 4 colors, white, blue, yellow, and orange. These 4 colors are the SAME 4 colors that 1969 Boss 302 Mustangs came in as well. Sorry there were NO factory built green Boss 302 cars made in 1969…
I’ll also note that since the first Eliminators weren’t built until April '69, if you were driving it around in March of that year, it definitely was not an Eliminator. Perhaps someone at the dealership, being aware of the upcoming model, decided to get the jump on the factory by adding stickers and stripes to a regular Cougar.
