Just watched Legendary show & they sold Dan’s 69 R-code vert he won in 69. Any idea what it sold for?

I saw that too, didn’t he say $38,000?

The $38K is what he paid for the BMW. The Cougar price was never disclosed.

They said it had a “Trans Am motor”.

They said Gurney won the Can Am championship in 1969.

I say nay nay.

I like most of the car shows on tv. That being said, there are a lot of errors that are stated especially with Cougars.

I missed this episode I’ll have to watch in "on demand ".
