Make it X3… or maybe X4, since I’d already heard the story about the ex having her way with the car.
EDIT: OBTW; Gotta tell on myself here… After leaving the Saturday first performance of the 2008 (or was it '07?) Payson Rodeo ; we saw a '69 XR-7 at first, the Knotty Pine Cafe and later in the Wal-Mart parking lot. Didn’t get to see much of the car at Knotty Pine; most of Payson and a good chunk of Phoenix Metro were jockeying around on 260. Later, at Wally World, I apparently spent TOO MUCH time looking at it…
SUE: “What are you staring at?”
ME: “Huh?”
MATT: “He’s looking at a car that’s kinda like the ones we saw at that guy’s house this morning”
SUE: “Oh, okay”
-then-
SUE: “NO! You have too much going on already! You don’t have the time and you CERTAINLY don’t have the shop area that he does!”
ME: What the heck are you talking about?" ![]()
Beautiful, just beautiful.
Life is so strange.
Congratulations and nice ride.
Dipstick, got any pictures of the Falcon? I’d like to have a 2 door wagon…
Great write-up Bill. Thanks.
btw Bill, do you know how many of the CJ-G cars came with the sunroof?
Bill, do you have any pictures of the car when you got it? Great story, I had me captivated and on the edge of my seat. Thanks!
This is one of my favorite Ride of the Month write ups. “You paid actual money for that”, must have been a priceless moment and lots of thought must have been put into the response.
