Does anyone have the door/window diagram for a 1970 Cougar XR7 with power windows (bolt in)? I received my car back in boxes from a guy I paid to put it together ( I know I know). I have no reference to go off of on these window parts. I can not logic it out, nor find the info on AI or google. I am having a hard time getting the regulators all connected where they are supposed to but cannot find a reference picture. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
You’re going to hear it often on this Forum - buy the Ford MPC ( Master Parts Catalogue - especially for the illustrated section ) and the assembly manuals ( Jim Osborne reprints ). Here’s what they look like:
The wiring and vacuum assembly manual will also help with the reinstall of the power windows.
You can find the CD version of the MPC all over the internet and the Jim Osborne assembly manuals ( at least the Chassis ) is available at West Coast classic.

…you need the 70 Shop Manual too. It has diagrams and detailed instructions for installing and adjusting the windows. Plus a whole lot of other detailed info you will need to install the parts and service your car.
Thanks Calicat - I forgot the Shop Manual - of the three it is the most important ! It is invaluable in the adjustments required on the window glass.
