Hey guys ! CrossFit questions for parts ! My new car is asleep 3 hours away and will be delivered to me in the spring but in the meantime I’m getting ready for it by buying all the upgrade pieces now. I have already bought Tri-Y SS headers that should fit my 4 speed . Question is will a 64-70 Mustang dual exhaust kit fit my Old Cougar? and I’m torn on whether to do a 2 barrel Sniper on the existing intake or just swap out for a 4 barrel Edelbrock performer carb intake combo . Suggestions welcome !
It should fit, but the tailpipes will be a little bit shorter since the Cougar had a wheelbase 3" longer.
It won’t fit. The difference in wheel base is under the back seat. Things like muffler mounts are different as well.
Kinda thought so , butut was hopeful that I could grab one and put in extensions . Thanks for the confirmation !
