Eliminators on the Market (June 2013)

Saw that rebody yesterday while trolling on CL…was dang near hitched to the trailer, and in my truck before I read the ad closer. My favorite line was "Car now has a good running Hi - Performance 390 4V (which is identical to the 428 engine)…LOL.

I hear ya Mo. Everytime I’m searching and come across one of the ever-changing ads for that car I’m like "OH! … damn, that one again :-/

Today on eBay…

*Vinyl top added at some point. NICE set of options, and car looks to be in decent shape ~ although I think the buy now is a bit optimistic.

And now relisted on eBay with $7.5k buy now, in Arkansas.

Hi Dave,

It is the same car as this one, just lowered the price.
Fresh posting on the BOSS 302 Forum about it the other day also. Could be a good project for someone with time and skills.

Oh my…guess he left out a few ‘minor’ details in the CL ad! Thanks for the info, and welcome to the forum!

That Eliminator on New Hampshire CL has been deleted.

Here is why.
I bought it today.

The car is missing a lot and is pretty rough, but the body is actually fixable. It is about in the same condition as my Eliminator.

Even though I just picked the car up today, I decided I am not going to keep the R-code Eliminator. Since I already have about a dozen projects on the list, it would be 20 years before I could do anything with it. I am going to give the car to a friend that has helped me out with my SS and other home projects in the past. He has two Cougars now and they are both pretty much done, so he is ready for another project.

Glad to see that you rescued this poor soul and maybe one day it will live again.

Good deal, another saved from the crusher.
Sidewinder, that sure is a purty engine in your avatar.

Yeah, unfortunately that is s stolen picture to remind me of what mine will look like when I put the car back together. Don’t know for sure whose it is as I lifted it off of google images. The good news is that I have all of the parts and pieces ready to go back together so hopefully you will see me posting some pictures again soon.

Great news!

This one is on eBay again;

9F91H581221, love that 1969 Orange Eliminator. Super rare since it has power windows, only like 3 or 5 Eliminators had power windows…it will be awesome when done.

Found this beauty.
I might go for this if I can’t make a deal to get my old convertible back. We sold our Cobra and are itching for a new car.

Sweet car, Lew!

My files show it having gone to auction with Russo & Steele in Aug 2010, and recently with Worldwide Auctioneers in Apr 2013. Not sure how well it bid though, sorry.

I must say, the current set of pics are really good compared to what I have saved.
