Garage size

Hi All,

I have a garage, 26’ wide (2 9’doors) 24’ deep.

Cougar has the left stall, daily driver has the right side. The right side is narrowed by 2’ for the full lenght workbench .

apart from a 4 post lift, do some people manage to cram 3 cars in there?

I’m aiming for the Echo (hers) at far left, Cougar in the middle, and Element (his) on right… The cougar is unregistered for winter, so it won’t roll out.

Even unheated, at least, no snow, and windows don’t freeze.

Ideas?

I think you’re going to have a problem getting three cars in there and being able to open doors. I don’t know what the width of your two daily drivers is but you will have to do some measuring to determine if you can squeeze them in.

What if you put the Cougar parallel to the back wall? You might need to buy some dollies to get it in there, but once there it should be out of the way for the season.

X2 on the dollies.

Be sure to get some with good bearings.
I made some for my car, skimped a little on the casters, it a b!tch to push the car around.

best idea! will look into it

Thanks

Pay attention to what zman said. I made the mistake of buying a cheap set from Tractor Supply. I can’t push the X code by myself if I have to change directions. And that’s on a nice new concrete floor.

Thanks for the head’s up!

I got a set of dollies on sale at Harbor Freight. I use them mostly to park my T-Bird on the back wall. But I can maneuver them myself. Not the easiest, But it’s not like I need to move the thing every day.
