Go Pro choice for in car?

So, I took my 69 to the Shelby event last Saturday. First drive outside the neighborhood in far, far too long. The car did great! 3.89 gear and a T5, showed 100 MPH, when going 80- So I will have to get a new driven gear for the trans. But I had no driveability issues at all. I took the car to work in down town Denver tonight, and again, the car did really well! The only thing is that it didn’t like the ruts in the road on I25! Anyway, it occurred to me that I might like some in car footage and wanted to get some input from you race car guys that go around the track. What are the important selling points, how does the storage work, that kind of thing. I just don’t think a cell phone on a tripod would be the best option. Or maybe it’s better than I think? I don’t know, that’s why I ask-

I have a GoPro Hero 12. It takes decent videos. But your phone should do fine, and you have it. When you get one done, please post it here.

I tried to up load a 51 second video from my phone and the site said wrong format or something-
