How follow up my XR7G restoration tread on the other forum?

As some of you know I have a story about the restoration of my XR7-G going on MercuryCougar.net. When that site got a new owner I had mixed feelings about the changes and I have finally decided to stick to this forum for the future. Posting on two different forums is just one too many as I want to do other things than sitting by my computer all evening.
So here is what I wonder wonder about, should I transfer all my previous posts and pictures to this forum to make a complete tread here or should I just link to the other forum and post fresh pictures and comments here? I believe there are other members wondering about the same so please tell what you think.

I’d cross-link the two. Put a link on MC.net to the continuation thread here and put a link here back to the original thread on MC.net. I’d also make sure to save all the information from MC.net in case that site goes away.
