Intro

Greetings… Just thought I’d say hi on this board. I’m a member over on MC.net as well. See several familiar names over here as well.

Anywhoo, I’m not super active on the forums, but I’ve been working on my 68 (Given to me by my Grandfather) for several years…and here is where it is now.

Home made body dollies rock…did that myself! I like the height of yours better, though. Mine was a bear to get back down.

Welcome to the CCC. Really like your color choice on you Cougar.
Steven

Nice Cougar, for an older one. :poke: Staying the solid gray? Stripes? 2-tone?

Thought about something else, but probably stay with the solid color for now

That color is real nice! Maybe some stripes to set it off? Dolly looks real hand too, being able to move it around. Looks like you are about the same point as me. I just put the rear axle back on but not much further than that.

Well, it’s been forever and a day. I guess I’m not too good with keeping on the forums.

I had to make a hard decision about a year ago to let someone else finish the work on my car. I’ve done little things here and there, but never made time for the car. I ended up taking the car back to the shop that did my body work for the final assembly. Needless to say I couldn’t be happier. Here are a few of the “finished” pics.

The color. That is the color, or a version, that I’m leaning towards now. I had plans of doing paint late spring or early summer, but wife just got laid off from her job in pharma. So, now paint is on hold. Looks very nice.

Welcome. Great car. Sorry to hear about the layoff. We went through a similar situation so I understand. Just hold fast, things will look up. They took a while for us, but they did get better.

They did a great job. That is a beautiful car.
