Finally got back to San Diego to work on My 71 convertible. All my parts ordered from WCCC arrived the day I had to go back home to Sacramento. (of course!) Got my headlights installed. Boy those springs are a pain, even with a spring tool. My dad has drawers full of hardware , so i found matching screws for all the parts. Headlights work great now. Replaced the burnt up brake light switch, and connector, with the one supplied by WCCC. At a portly 70 YO getting under the dash was a challenge, even with the seat out. Replaced all tail light bulbs and now all rear lights(tail/brake/turn) work. Cleaned up tail light housing, but it needs repainting. Next up is installing a relay for the electric fuel pump. PO had it powered by the coil feed wire. Its almost safe to drive, Yeah!
