My new Magnum 500 wheels have an interference problem between the wheel bearing dust cover and the hub cap. This appears to be a known issue, but I have not seen a good solution. As I understand, my options are to peen the dust cover until it fits, or get wheel spacers. I have peened the dust cover, but still have about 1/8” of interference - any suggestions?
Get yourself a pair of 1/4-1/2 inch wheel spacers. I got the same issue and the previous owner that had my magnum 500 wheels had to run them as well and gave them to me when he swapped to the 17 inch style magnum 500s..
