New reproduction: Staggered Shock Body Panels

Recently I bought a 1970 428 Cougar that had the staggered shock mounting damaged for some unknown reason.
Well talking w/my friend we came up with the 3 pieces needed to repair or add staggered shocks to any 1969 or 1970 (not sure it would fit the 67/8) Cougar.
The top piece mounts inside the trunk. The slots cut into the top will have radiused inside corners to better fit the stamped floor panel.

The bottom panel has the most complex piece. The top mount for the shock took some real work!
These are made from 14 gauge galvanized steel, just like the originals.

Please let me know your thoughts!

For more info contact me directly, as I’m trying to get a pre-order number for a “run” of these.

Bill, this also be should be posted at the Boss forum, Cobra Jet forum, etc.

Message sent.

I’d be happy to test fit one on my '67.

Very nice and a fantastic idea.

I found someone on ebay selling something similar.

Thanks for the comments, and I hope to post on the other site soon.

Adam. I’ve found the Mustang is very different from the Cougar one.

Sounds good, Bill. I’m very interested in doing this to my Cougar. Please keep us up to date.

Very nice pieces Bill. I am happy every time another part of the puzzle is solved.
