Nine inch rear diff mounting questions

So, had family in from out of town, had some fun, did some cool stuff. Removed the engine in my 68, and am currently installing freshly rebuilt 289. So I’m also replacing my rear diff( the point here) and the new one does not fit on the isolators on the spring. The center pin hole is much smaller than the pin on the spring. My buddy said just hog out the hole on the new perch. I think there is a more correct part. The old diff was out of a 58 Ranchero, and I’m not sure if the old parts are specific to that rear end

You’re missing the wedges.
