I finally got my internet back up and running. Its only been out TWO weeks. It had been slow as hell and giving me problems for a while. I am on sattelite and no other options. The price you pay to live in paradise and worth it to me.
Any how, I did this for the first time as you will see. When I revved it for the camera it allmost jumped off the center stand. I will do a better one now that I sorta have an idea how to
do it.
Well the post didnt turn out quite right but if you click on the image I think it should work. One day I might get the hang of this stuff.
Sweet ride, makes me want another old British bike. I posted a picture of my old BSA in the “random vehicles” thread. The damn things sure do vibrate don’t they? You would have thought they would have smartened up and offset the throws of the crank so that it would balance out better. But then again, the Brits weren’t keen on re-engineering when they found something that worked.
I wasnt expecting it to jump when I revved it. Its going to take a while to get used to it again. I rode my TT Yamaha after messing with it and hit the brake trying to shift, allmost put me on my ass. The Norton does smooth out once you get it rolling.
I always wanted a bike. I priced out a brand new Harley for under 8K, and when I had finished with the options, it looked like a bobber.
I had also thought about a Rebel 250 to learn on first but I know I would outgrow it sooner rather then later.
Then again, in this state, if you buy a trike you don’t need a motorcycle license.
I really enjoy riding. If youve never ridden I would reccomend learning on a dirt bike. Mistakes can hurt real bad on the street. As it is i only do back roads, their more fun anyhow. There are too many idiots on the highway. I bought a old bomber van to fix up for hauling the Norton to areas I want to ride.
Someone once told me to go buy a beater of a bike, take it out into the field and dump it a few hundred times until you know what to do. He said it was not a matter of if, but when, I would dump a bike.
Nice sounding bike!
