Hi there fellas (and GALS!). I decided to plop my ugly mug in here and see how much damage I can do! I was put off a bit when the name I had setup doesn’t seem to want to work - so I now have a new name -which is probably more appropriate now anyway. (You may know me as bad69cat, but I go by Mike IRL). I have an M code 69 ecat that I have owned for about 15 years, and I just picked up an S code 69 vert that is anxiously awaiting some much needed rehab. I also talked my brother inlaw into picking up a 68 XR7 on the same day!! – Well, he was a Chevy guy and he actually is starting to see the light!

LOL - yeah, when he said if I don’t buy it - let him know what I thought and send him pics. I hope he doesn’t have the crazy idea I’m going to do it for him!! I’ll give him the pointers and what not, but I got a lot on my plate to say the least. (Haven’t even started the work on the flood house I bought last year!!) It’s a very solid car - he has a good platform, plus it’s only an F code XR7 - so that leaves lot’s of room to play with it and not hurt any value anyway. I have the correct 302 motor he needs if he wants a resto - I’ll take the roller block we got with it, but I don’t really have a use for that either…? I need a 390 if anybody has one laying around.
Al - the guy hasn’t returned my call on the Torino yet. If he does, I may go next weekend (or have my buddy recon it) - but my truck needs the exhaust worked on desperately. To cold and rainy to do it this weekend here - now that I have two cats tying the garage up…working outside sucks…then theres the boat that needs fixed, the quad doesn’t start, the Suzuki I got last year that needs everything, the…
