Quick test :

im converting a 69 351W 2V into a 4V ,
my question is if the throttle cable is different between the old 2V and the newer 4V set up ?
I used the recommended Holly throttle cable bracket but its not a good fit, i had to bend it a bit get it to work but it seems the 2v cable is too long ? It also fowled the kick down rod.
Is the 4V cable shorter ?
Any advice ?

The cable is the same, 2V to 4V, for a stock Ford set up.
Changing intake manifolds and or non-stock carburetors will change the connection geometry for throttle cable and kick down rods.
