How do I remove the 3 prong harness coming out the firewall to the ignition coil ? Am I pulling the rubber garment? Disconnecting it from the inside or are the wires going straight to the tach and ignition?
And can I usestrong text a mustang harness as opposed to changing the entire harness
I’m not clear as to what you’re attempting to do. If you need to replace the 3 prong plug as shown, you’ll need to splice the wires to the new plug. If there’s no wire length left to splice, you’ll need to push the grommet into the passenger compartment and then push wires through the grommet from the new plug and splice into the remnants.
The coil wire starts from the ignition switch, goes through the optional tach, then out to this 3 pront plug and then to the coil.
