Does anyone have any experience in the disassembly and bead blasting/ repainting it? I have one that was repainted silver and one that is rusted and dirty.
Does anyone know what finish was on the assembly when it was installed on the car in the factory?

They weren’t originally painted, but had a phosphate and oil finish from the factory. When you search for that on here, you’ll find several threads about how to replicate it.
You might be able to get away with using a chemical stripper on the silver paint. There is a chance that the original phosphate and oil finish still survives underneath ~ at least in some form >.<

Let it soak in a 5 gallon bucket of evaporust for a long time. The paint will loosen up eventually and you can shoot it off with brake parts cleaner.
