Does this hole get plugged? 1969 XR7.
I’ve never seen them plugged
If its bothersome then put a nut and bolt for a tiny bit of regitity .
I have not found a photo with them plugged yet. I was just curious.

Mine are open but will be putting bolts in them. Can’t help but make it stronger. There are also 4 smaller holes on the frame rail below this. Not sure if they are open or plugged?
