Things new cars have that I would like to add to my Cougar

9F91H581221! That is perfect! LOL!

At some point it’s easier to put the Cougar on a trailer.

BUT; it has to be a plexiglass trailer so no one knows……

My 67 restomod is getting most of all your desires. The only thing missing is the cup holder, back up camera, lane departure warning, and ABS, vanity mirrors in the sun visors, as near as I can determine from your dreams.

The only item I would add is the cup holder, which may be available after market. I don’t want a console, however. Had one on my ‘68 4spd.

I’d be ecstatic just to have the high beam switch on the signal light stalk. It can be a real PITA quickly finding it when wearing size 13 shoes.

I don’t ask for much. Overdrive transmission and fuel injection are next on my to-do list.

Cruise control and maybe an AC one day.

Try that size 13 with 67 foot operater wiper pump and sill pod speaker panels. Your lucky to get out of the car

I have EFI, removed the vacuum grill light door openers for the electric, upgraded to halogen.stereo upgrade when its complete.. 4 speed tranny will help with the GPH.

A heater would be nice, just to silence the whinging … and when too hot for roof down, AC…. Yes I know it is a Convertible… Queensland built car (think Florida) now in South Australia (think coldest place it doesn’t snow, with some days over 110 F in summer)….

Instead of adding an expensive mirror, you may have a wifi opener already? The home we have has a system and the app is called “MY Q”. Not only can I open ans close the door ANYWHERE I’m in cell coverage, it also allows my to add a in garage camera. It’s great if someone I know needs to get in and out as opposed to giving someone a Garage Door Code. I also added a Bluetooth 50W amp that’s literally 4” x 3” x 3/4” thick inside my console. I have the AM disconnected and just stream my Spotify through it. The reality is its too loud if I need to rock to AC/DC but quiet enough to be heard clearly in the background. I did upgrade the front dash speaker and rear deck speaker as well as the original units were in my Eliminator and were junk. I HAD to completely disconnect the front rear balance and just hook the speakers to the AMP for it to work howvever, so be warned, but were I luve in Canada, the ONLY sttation I coukd get was KMON out of Great Falls and In Canada it doesn’t fair well to sit at a traffic light, with a 9mm in your mouth and tears streaming down your face, as KMON had me hostage as the ONLY station I could pick up, and as I listened to another quartlety hour Farm fututes updates with the Hog report followed by 50’ to 70’s Original Country Music. KILL ME. LOL. The cost for that unit on Amazon? $30! Works like a God Damn. I’ve contemplated updating the headlights for brightness, but its just a really, really nice daily driver so I have actually put any research into what light but as well I’ve seen an upgrade harness to handle the new style lights and in the description it says it will handle the increased heat in the harness so it scares me off quite a bit.

I would LOVE to see NPD (as they have “deeper” pockets and nothing against WCCC come out with repopped harnesses for the Main Underdash harness for XR7 and Eliminators as well as the rest, but I may not live that long as Im sure by that time I’ll be near 90.

I would think it would be pretty hard to MISS it with size 13 shoes!

I made my own cupholder. Adapted it to fit into the seatbelt holder in the console. It is easily removable. Think I want to make revision 2.0 and add a slot for my cellphone and possibly cover the wood with some extra vinyl top material I have. And of course I can’t figure out how to attach a picture of it.

There is the holder I made
