Turning Ignition has no Response

Update & resolution.
So after convincing myself that the ignition switch was bad, it was changed for a new one. Still no difference. So I started checking more connections. There is a 3-wire connector that runs to the temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge & the coil. Had the coil & oil pressure wires switched. Tried again. No luck. So I read about jumping the coil from the battery + to the coil +. Started right up. Turns out I had a bad coil. Swapped the coil for a new one & now it starts right up. Even got the shift linkage adjusted so that I don’t have to jumper the neutral safety switch anymore. So in the end, turns out it was mostly me being in a hurry & not checking my work.
