Hello Pat,
The 70 XR-7 4 speed CJ has been put on the back burner.
The paint code is #3077A. For Bright Blue Metallic AKA Acapulco Blue. Every manufacturer has a different formulation and they all vary.
I went through this with my Shelby as well. Keep in mine that you can usually have one ounce mixed for about 15.00. Have a few spray-outs done until it has the color you like.

Here is a pic of a nice 68 in Nordic Blue on BaT.
This is what I am planning to use as my color choice on my 68 XR7! I hope this link works. Also if you go to the site there are a few more really well done photos of this car.
Well, meant this one.

Hello, I am restorating a 1969 Cougar XR7 Convertible with a Bright Blue Metallic paint code. Ford 3077. Dear Alanstrohbehn; your car seems amazing. Which paint company and code did you used , can you state me to paint my car with the same paint? ( I mean Acme Rogers or Dupont or Sherwin Williams etc.) Thanks indeed.
