The shop manual calls for a 1156 light bulb for 68 Cougars backup light housings and my housings have two contacts at the bottom of the socket and an 1156 bulb has just one contact on its base is the bulb used this way or should my backup housings have one contact at the bottom of the socket ?
I think the correct bulb is 1076, according to West Coast Classic Cougar.They state that the manual, incorrectly specifies 1156.
Agree, the owner’s manual in the glove box is wrong.
