Where is the easiest place on a base 67 to get 12 volt switched power?
Do you need it to be hot during both crank and run?
How much current?
I recently added a switched 12V power to supply the Pertronix in my brothers 1967 Cougar. I drilled a hole in the ignition switch and then added a wire by soldering. The car runs great with the new Pertronix.

Depending on what your trying to power or how many other accessories you want to add in the future it may be a good idea to add an additional fuse panel to support your addons.
