134r conversition

I am getting my air conditioning back in a 68 XR7 and converting to 134r. Where are the green O rings supposed to be placed? It is totally stock setup with a better condenser so hose are new orignial type. Most of the fittings a of the compression type.

Why?? Other than $$$. R12 cools better , leaks less , requires far less air flow at low speed. We did up grade to a sanden compressor but kept the r12
