I’m looking for a 1967 or 1968 cougar that needs to be restored and has little to no rust.
In Chicago land area but will pay for shipping if the car is worth it.
Looking to spend under or around 4k.

You are not alone, lots of people looking it seems. FWIW the last time I bought one a lot of shippers wouldn’t take a non running car. Just something to keep in mind. Good luck with the search.

I have a near rust free Texas car. It is a 1968, F Code, Automatic, Base model, A/C, Console, and I believe it is a Two Tone car (Attempting to verify at this time). Lime Frost exterior, Ivy interior, Black roof. There is rust in the deck lid and Hood, but I have rust free replacements that come with the car. No engine or transmission. I also have a 1968 4V 302/Auto in another Cougar that can be sold if needed. I am asking $3200.00 for the car. TX Title.

Thanks for the plug, Don! :sunglasses: It’s definitely got good bones, but mine is just too rusty for this new member I think. If it wasn’t an X-code, I’d say “parts car,” but it probably can still be saved by someone who wants an FE Cougar.
