POSTING FOR A FRIEND:
1967 Cougar “A” code 289 4V automatic. This car has been in storage for the last 19 years and is in overall nice original condition, but would need a full restoration to be a show car. The paint is all original except for half of the passenger door and fender. The original 289 is out of the car on a pallet disassembled needing to be rebuilt, but is complete from the carb to the oil pan. Currently there is a strong running 302 with headers in the car. Both front floor pans need to be repaired (see pics), but have been rust treated. Patch panels are included. The rear floors are excellent. There is some rust in the trunks area too (see pics), but the car is very solid. It needs a new headliner. Factory console car. The Marti report is included with the car, it sold new in Portland Oregon, and has spent most of its life in the Salem area. It is currently running and driving, but I would go through the brakes before considering it fit for the road. The Styled Steel wheels are original to the car including the matching spare. Original blue Oregon plates are on the car.
In the last few months the following new parts have been added:
Complete dual exhaust.
Holly 600 carburetor
Headlight switch
Water pump and thermostat
Carpet set and kick panels (not installed)
The BFG tires are older, but have very few miles on them.
$6700.00 I have the Oregon title in hand.
I am not interested in any trades. If you have any questions please call or text. 503-932-203two
