1967 Cougar featured on Cnet on Cars

Fellow Cougar-phile Brian Cooley has featured the '67 Cougar in the current edition of Cnet on Cars,

http://www.cnet.com/cnet-on-cars/

That’s his Lime Frost '67.

Well you should ask him what he was smoking when he talked about the rare and unusual column shift Cougar

Didn`t know they came standard with a C3 Automatic transmission  as he says just before the 3 on the tree comment

Thanks for the post. All in all a very good, positive video. The Cougar looks awesome - congrats to Brian! Nice camera work, too. Too bad they got the tranny info wrong. I like that they brought out Cougars didn’t come with sixes, which was a distinguishing characteristic of the Mercury brand from the beginning.

That is one great looking Cougar! Makes me want to put wire wheel covers on one of my cars. I sure wish they would get a little help with the fact checking…

That was very cool - thanks for the heads up Dennis!

I didn’t have the heart to tell him about the transmission comments…

Dennis, that was 98% perfection and 2% not perfection. I guess it is human nature to want it to be 100% perfection.

Overall I liked it. Other than the transmission/shifter comments it was good.
