1967 Cougar/Mustang Seat Riser Question

I’ve got a problem and maybe someone could help? A shop replaced part of my floor pans and when they did this they also replaced my seat risers without my knowledge. I believe the ones in my car now are Mustang seat risers that are taller than the originals. I saw that NPD carries seat risers that are “correct height for Cougar” and ordered some. Has anyone ever used these seat risers or does anyone know the height of the Cougar seat risers? I want to put the correct risers in my car but don’t have the old ones as a reference. Any info would be much appreciated.

Bryan,

Just joined and found this post. Sorry if this is late. As I understand the differences between Mustang and Cougar, the cougar risers are an inch shorter to allow for more padding in the seats. So if the NPD risers are in fact shorter by an inch, change them out. Hope this helps.

If your going to cut them out, just cut and resend the lip to weld on. I shortened my as far as I could and the moved them back an inch to get more leg room.

I actually just purchased those and installing in my 1968
