Hello, I’m new here so I figured I’d through together a little info about my car etc. purchased the car in 2018 from a friend who was going to scrap it. Over the last 6 years I’ve tried to make it a capable drivers car. The car is painted a custom tri coat Augusta green. Lowered on Calvert split mono leafs in the back with qa1 coilovers in the front. And large sway bars front and back. The drivetrain is a 289sbf with a mild cam and aluminum heads, intake and a Holley 600cfm double pumper. T5 transmission and 4.10 positrac rear gears
Managed 10k miles last year and shooting for the same or more this year!
Awesome car, I’ve seen you on FB. The car has a perfect stance with those coilovers.
I also recognize your car from Facebook, thanks for joining. I really hate how hard it is to follow posts and info on FB so looking forward to seeing you post here as well.
You’re fabricating those grill/radiator filler panels too correct?
Respect for putting that kind of mileage on your cougar!
Yep I am! I have a listing in the marketplace section for them, or you can just message me and we can get it taken care of!
You ought to create a listing here it’s free
Should be up now!!
Put some more miles on the new setup this weekend!
Do you happen to have the part numbers on the calvert split mono leafs that you have installed?
Let me see if I can find it!! I’ll get back with you this evening
Very nice car - love the color. I, too try and make mine a regular driver.
I voted YES YES and YES on your recent lower it or not FB poll. Welcome!
Should be the 680-36
This reminds me I need to go lower with my car!
Yes. You probably should.
Awesome, looks like a good solid and fun driver!
Good morning! I was in the middle of a cam swap when we found the spring dampers were destroyed in the heads. Heads are off and going to the machine shop Monday, hoping we don’t have a lot of other issues
