New on here and trying to figure out this cougar is worth restoring or just a driver and it’s worth? Any info is great appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Your pics could cover more of the car like under the hood and interior pics to help the most. Is it still in the Langhorn area ?

Just based on what it is, a 67 XR7 GT 4 speed with factory limited slip, it’s a rare car and worth restoring.

Thanks for the reply. Any ideas on a good reputable shop to send it to? The car is in the Pittsburgh area now.

The radiator and shroud is worth big money to Shelby restorers.

If you are thinking of having the car restored professionally there is KTL in Virginia or Garner Restoration in Florida. Both have done top notch restoration work on Cougars.

For sure a good candidate like Steve said. Lots of good parts there to work with. Looks to even have the factory hood insulation in good shape.
Looks like it might be a lower mileage car?

Looks like a 351 Cleveland has been installed. Also Philadelphia distric (16) sold cars would normally have rust issues.

It is a Cleveland, I have a c7me 390 with the gt heads in the process of rebuilding it right now.
