1967 cup holders?

I usually go:“Here, hold my beer and watch this!” NOT!

Here is the one I have in my 67. It is unmodified, so it sits a bit higher than Joe’s but I haven’t found it to be a problem.

I think it looks pretty good. Do you have any other pictures? I like the idea of the arm rest. Cup holders are good also, usually have hot coffee in the car with me. I don’t like having to hold that between my legs.
Steven

I can try to take one tomorrow that’s more centered on the console. That picture was originally more about showing the interior vs. headliner colors.

Wow, I don’t know how much you paid for those seats…but it was well worth it.

Did you install the upholstery yourself? Looks Amazing.

The upholstery is the leather kit from John’s Classic Cougars. It was $1200 for the front seat kit. But I agree, it was well worth it!

The installation was done by a local trim shop that I’ve been using for many years now. They are very good.

Here are a couple more pictures of the console:

“Talented” enough to hold between your legs is all well and good, Mark…since you’re too lazy to bang gears, your legs don’t do as much moving around! LMAO.

Yup… one emergency breaking episode, and you just cooked/boiled your… eh… never mind…

Nope… and I’ll add that my car is also “talented enough” to shift itself as well.

 Think I’ve heard that before…

Back in the day when these cars were just for driving, I used one of these…

35 cents at the gas station. Hang it on the door window.

Thanks for posting the extra pictures of your console Bill. I must say those seats look awesome! Are they as comfortable as they look?
Steven

Steven, the seats are absolutely comfortable. When the trim shop installed the upholstery, they also rebuilt the seat foams. The seats are comfortable even after an hour of non-stop driving. Eventually, I’ll find out if they remain comfortable for longer. Now that the car has gone through its post-restoration mechanical shakedown, I’ll probably drive it down to Carlisle in June. That’s about 6 or 7 hours, so it’ll be a very good test of seat comfort!

Then you can get grouped with the two terrors… they don’t listen either.

I still have a pair of those in my '88 T-Bird.

Huh? Didjoo say sumpin’?
